Notice: Change to Delivery Methods for Business Entity Filing Submissions

Section 4.001(a)(2), Texas Business Organizations Code, was amended by Senate Bill 2411 to remove fax as a business entity filing submission method. 

Effective September 15, 2025, a business entity filing may only be delivered to the Office of the Texas Secretary of State (SOS) in the following ways:

Fax delivery will no longer be an accepted method on or after September 15, 2025.
