Maintenance Notice for Various Applications
In connection with system maintenance, SOSDirect, SOSUpload, Notary, UCC, Texas Register, Trademarks and various other applications will be unavailable on Friday, August 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9. During this period, it will not be possible to submit business filings, view documents on file, or order certificates from the Texas Secretary of State’s SOSDirect system, or interact with the SOS Portal.
All electronic filings submitted on August 7 before SOSDirect and SOSUpload become unavailable will receive a file date of August 7, 2026, if the documents conform to statutory filing requirements. Any orders for certified copies or certificates of fact ordered through SOSDirect before services become unavailable will not be processed until maintenance is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our online customers.
