Reminders About the May 6 Uniform Election
AUSTIN — The Texas Secretary of State’s office issued the following reminders about Saturday’s Uniform Election Day on May 6.
- Not all local governmental entities will hold elections on May 6. Voters should check with their county elections office for more information on which municipalities, school districts, and other local political subdivisions are holding elections.
- Where there are local elections, polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Because there are no statewide candidates or ballot propositions, there will be no posting of election night results through the Secretary of State's website. Instead, please consult county election websites for results.
- For information about voting in person, including ID requirements at the polls, check county websites or VoteTexas.gov.
