across the globe to the 2017 Offshore Technology
Conference in Houston, Texas.

HOUSTON, TX – Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos today welcomed energy leaders from across the globe to the 2017 Offshore Technology Conference at a luncheon hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce's SelectUSA program, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the U.S. Commercial Service. Secretary Pablos discussed the unique benefits for foreign companies operating their businesses in Texas, as well as the Lone Star State's diverse energy profile.

"Everything is bigger in Texas, and it's only appropriate that we host the largest annual oil and gas conference in the world right here in Houston," Secretary Pablos said. "For over a century, Texas has been an international leader in the oil and gas industry and is building a strong reputation as major force in renewable energy. As a globally-connected economic powerhouse, Texas is wide open for business, and we are proud to welcome international companies from more than fifty nations to the Bayou City this week so they can experience firsthand the benefits of doing business in the Lone Star State."
