AUSTIN, TX – Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos today hosted a delegation of Swedish business leaders to further explore opportunities for collaboration between Texas and Sweden. Secretary Pablos discussed Sweden’s existing economic footprint in the Lone Star State and received input from business leaders on how Texas can help facilitate even stronger relationships with industry, educational institutions, and local communities throughout the state. Secretary Pablos also offered an array of options for forming future partnerships across a diverse set of industries, including engineering, agriculture, manufacturing, and scientific research.

“Sweden knows that Texas is the home of innovation,” Secretary Pablos said. “We are proud to host over 100 Swedish companies in our state, and I am deeply encouraged by prospects for even more growth as we continue to build on our commercial, academic, and cultural relationships.
