Commission on State Emergency Communications
Revised Rule Review Plan
Pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act, Texas Government Code, §2001.039, Agency Review of Existing Rules, Senate Bill 178 (SB 178), §1.11(b) and (c) of Acts 1999, 76th Legislature, the following revised rule review plan is submitted for the Commission on State Emergency Communications (Commission).
Chapter 251, concerning Regional Plans--Standards, will be reviewed every four years beginning in November 2012.
Chapter 252, concerning Administration, will be reviewed every four years beginning in February 2012.
Chapter 253, concerning Practice and Procedure, will be reviewed every four years beginning in October 2012.
Chapter 254, concerning Regional Poison Control Centers, will be reviewed every four years beginning in October 2014.
Chapter 255, concerning Finance, will be reviewed every four years beginning in April 2014.
For administrative continuity and public convenience, the Commission shall, when practicable, review all rules within a chapter during the chapter's assigned review period regardless of varying effective dates within the chapter. Actions to amend, repeal, or adopt rules may begin independently of this schedule if required by legislative action, court decision, or other causes.
The Commission reserves the right to review a chapter as part of its routine rulemaking before or after its scheduled review date when deemed appropriate.
