Texas Board of Professional Engineers
Rule Review Plan

The Texas Board of Professional Engineers plans to conduct a review of its rules pursuant to §2001.039 of the Texas Government Code according to the following schedule:

February 2008:

Publish Notice of Intent to Review in the Texas Register

Begin review of Chapter 131 (Organization of the Board)

March 2008:

Begin review of Chapter 133 (Licensing) and Chapter 135 (Firm Registration).

Begin review of Chapter 137 (Compliance and Professionalism) and Chapter 139 (Enforcement).

June 2008:

Submit rules for possible readoption at Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting and publish in the Texas Register.
