The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department submits the following plan to the Texas Register, Governor, and Legislative Budget Board for review of its rules in accordance with House Bill 1, 75th Legislature, Regular Session, 1997, Article IX, §167.
The Department will conduct a review of its rules in Title 31, Natural Resources and Conservation, in the following order, by chapters; however, the commission may review a chapter as part of its routine rulemaking before its scheduled review date if it is necessary to propose amendments to sections within a chapter. The timeline for review of each chapter is as follows:
Chapter 51: Executive--by November 2004
Chapter 52: Wildlife and Fisheries--by November 2004
Chapter 53: Finance--by January 2005
Chapter 55: Law Enforcement--by November 2004
Chapter 57: Fisheries--by April 2005
Chapter 58: Oysters and Shrimp--by November 2005
Chapter 59: Parks--by January 2005
Chapter 61: Design and Construction--by November 2004
Chapter 65: Wildlife--by April 2005
Chapter 69: Resource Protection--by January 2005
