How do I submit an Open Meeting?
- Go to the Liaison Center and click on "Open Meetings Submit Form"

- Fill out all the required fields on the web form
**"If Emergency Meeting, Reason" and "Original Meeting TRD#" are not required fields**
You will receive an acknowledgement through the e-mail.
Things to Remember
- An open meeting is considered filed late if it does not meet the seven day filing deadline. The seven day requirement does not include the day you file the meeting or the day of the meeting.
- An open meeting cannot be filed more than 90 days in advance.
- You may "cut and paste" your agenda from a word processor into the web form agenda field. However, the form will display standard text only. Graphics will not display in the form, and special characters (bulleted lists, tabs, etc.) will not display correctly. Do not include graphics or special characters in your agenda.
How do I reschedule a meeting or revise the agenda?
- Go to the Liaison Center and click on "Open Meetings Submit Form"
- Fill out all the required fields on the web form plus the "Original Meeting TRD#"
The original meeting will be marked as Rescheduled / Revised. Your new posting will reference the original notice TRD.
How do I file an Emergency Meeting?
- Go to the Liaison Center and click on "Open Meetings Submit Form"
- Fill out all the required fields on the web form plus the "If Emergency Meeting, Reason"
How do I cancel an Open Meeting?
- Go to the Liaison Center and click on "Open Meetings Cancellation Form"
- Click on the TRD number of the meeting you wish to cancel

- Click on the drop down menu next to status
**The Open Meeting’s status will change from "Active" to "Canceled".**
How do I delete an Open Meeting?
To delete an Open Meeting from the Open Meeting Viewer you must contact the Texas Register at (512) 463-5561.
