NOTICE OF NEW TITLE 26
(Editor's Note: Senate Bill 200, 84th Legislature, consolidated many of the functions relating to the provision of health and human services in Texas under the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
To comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 200, the Texas Register is creating a new Title 26, Health and Human Services, in the Texas Administrative Code. Rules currently in the Texas Administrative Code that concern health and human services will transition to the new title. This transition may affect all or part of the following agency's rules: Title 1 Part 15 (Texas Health and Human Services Commission), Title 25 Part 1 (Department of State Health Services), Title 40 Part 1 (Department of Aging and Disability Services), Title 40 Part 2 (Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services), and Title 40 Part 19 (Department of Family and Protective Services.
As existing rules are transferred to the new Title 26, a notice of the transfer will be published in the Transferred Rules section of the Texas Register.)
