NORTH TEXAS - Secretary Andrade visited North Texas earlier this week to highlight several longtime Texas businesses for their contributions to the state's economy.
"In Texas, not only do we celebrate the many new companies coming to our state, but we also appreciate and recognize our countless homegrown businesses that make such a positive impact across our state," said Andrade.
Andrade also met with local economic development entities to thank them for their dedication and continued partnership.
"Our state's proactive efforts are one of the primary reasons Texas remains the best state in the nation to do business. I am very grateful to our partners at the local level who join us in promoting the Lone Star State as the top business location in the U.S., and I look forward to continuing our work together.”
Andrade visited: Renfro Foods, Kincaid’s Hamburgers and Puente-Brancato Enterprises, of Fort Worth; OptiSense Network Inc., Sarah Jane's Flower Shop, Hawkins Funeral Home, and First Financial Bank, of Bridgeport; and Careington International and Sunbelt Plastics, Inc., of Frisco.
